This informal event is for those who have ever asked themselves questions around fostering or are just curious on how fostering supports children and young people develop and thrive in loving, nurturing environments. We want this to be a great opportunity to learn all these things.
Topics that we will touch on:
- Who fostering supports
- What support exists for carers
- What skills foster carers bring to their role
- What might people wish to develop before they would think of applying as a foster carer
If you are able to attend, you will be welcomed by one of our team who supports Foster Carers and Young People. They can give great insight and first hand accounts of their experiences along with valuable contributions from a current carer.
