Independent Counselling: Assistance Programme

We are pleased to be able to offer all our carers a free of charge, independent counselling, information and advice service. This Assistance Programme offers support that is confidential, impartial and can help people in and outwith of their role.

Along with available sessions with BACP Accredited Counsellors, there is also a wealth of information though their web support and regular webinars.

The Fostering Network Membership

The Fostering Network is the UK’s leading fostering charity, bringing together everyone who is involved in the lives of children and young people who are fostered to make foster care the very best it can be.

All of our foster carers are provided membership of the Fostering Network. Members will receive:

Blue Light Card

We provide foster carers with the identification needed to register to The UK's leading discount provider for the emergency services, NHS, social care sector, and armed forces.

Blue Light is open to foster carers to register to access to more than 15,000 discounts on many popular brands - helping carers save on ‘everything from a coffee with friends to a brand-new car.’

Concerts for Carers

Our carers are also able to register for their chance to win free tickets for the ‘most exciting artists and events across the UK’ with Concerts for Carers.
