Care Experienced Week 2022 - Events: 23-29th Oct

Established in 2002, National Care Leavers week was an event created to celebrate the Care Experienced community. In 2018, this was changed to Care Experienced Week, acknowledging that Care Experienced people do not leave their experiences behind when they leave formal care. Despite the name change, the main purpose of the event remains the same.

Who Cares? Scotland are delighted to be bringing back their big national events this year – The Love Rally and Time to Shine festival. Plus the Members’ Assembly which will see the see the launch of their new four year strategic plan.

All the info on these events is available via: Care Experienced Week 2022 - whocaresscotland.org

They will be updating this page with more events.

We are also pleased to promote and support the #MoreThanMyCE campaign from The Why Not Trust:

For this year's Care Experience Week, they are focusing on personal achievements, letting people know that someone is more than their care experience.
They are encouraging young people to share their accomplishments through #MoreThanMyCE or message them directly to share it anonymously.
