Our busy Finance Team at our Head Office in Stirling have a major responsibility to the children and young people in our care – to ensure that there is no disruption to the services and amenities that are there to support them.
As the Purchase Ledger Assistant, you will have the accountability of ensuring that your part of the process is maintained.
We will be relying on your previous experience and knowledge of purchase ledger processing, attention to detail and ability to self-manage, to complete your part accurately and on time.
You will need prior knowledge of SAGE Accounts, as we really need you to hit the ground running but if you have this, the reconciliations, payment runs, payment processing and journal posting will all be easy for you to pick up and run with quickly.
We do have an amazing team that will support you to find your feet. Based in our modern offices on the outskirts of Stirling, we have an open, relaxed and accommodating atmosphere and every staff member has a mutual respect for each other’s role.
With that, comes ownership of this part of the process. We will fully expect you to apply your own logic and way of working to this role and proactively suggest improvements to processes and controls.
As for where we are located - we are close to the centre of Stirling with access to motorway links in all directions, easy to get to and with free parking outside of our building.
