📣And That’s a Wrap! 🎞️

At the end of July ’24, GMAC CashBack x Care Visions Film Club had their second instalment of film making, this time at our new Falkirk Office.

The young people involved (all connected with CV Fostering) were hot off a session in spring where they learned about the fundamentals of film making.

At the summer 3-day follow-up, they put this knowledge into practice, making their own movie!

We were delighted to have partnered with GMAC Film as part of their CashBack programme, which aims to develop young people’s confidence & creativity by giving them a voice through filmmaking. 

Supervising Social Worker, Heather Cameron, who supported The Film Club in this activity, had this to say, “What an amazing week some young people had making their very own film with the help and guidance of GMAC. The film was filmed, directed and written by the whole group, along with making their own props and creating their own set. We are very proud how people conquered their anxiety, built on their skills and creativity and worked on independent travel. A big well done to everyone and we hope to celebrate everyone's success at our very own Care Visions Oscars!"
