We would like to extend a very well deserved congratulations to our members of staff who received their Care Visions Long Service Awards this year in November.
Our annual awards event was held on Wednesday the 27th of November at the Radstone Hotel in Lanarkshire.
We were delighted to come together to recognise the fantastic efforts and commitment of our team. This again proved to be a special day, allowing us the opportunity to celebrate and honour those who have made, and continue to make, a real difference to the lives of Children and Young People across Scotland. This year the awardees included Care Visions Staff from Residential Child Care, Business Support, and Fostering.
Sharon Hendry, Head of HR at Care Visions Children's Services, welcomed everyone and spoke warmly about what those being honoured bring to the organisation and the lives of children. The awards were followed by a video presentation featuring some touching personal messages from colleagues and friends. During the event, there was an afternoon tea and a chance to catch up with friends, guests and colleagues.
On the awards, Sharon Hendry said, "It was a true joy to celebrate over 220 years of combined service from staff who have been with Care Visions for 10, 15, 20 and even 25 years! The stories shared during a lovely, relaxed afternoon highlight the incredible dedication of our team to supporting young people and each other. As an organisation, we are privileged to benefit from such extensive experience across our teams, giving us stability and strong, consistent relationships that are vital to the work we do."
It was great that most of the staff who had reached their significant milestone were able to accept their award in person. There were recipients for 10, 15, 20 and 25 years of service with Care Visions.
We are very much looking forward to building on the success of the last three years by honouring more long-serving members of our team in 2025.
