You will be allocated a Supervising Social Worker who provides you with monthly supervision and day to day support with all aspects of your fostering role. We'll tailor your support in line with your circumstances and we're there on-hand 24/7 for foster carer support for as long as you're fostering with us. Sometimes families need time for themselves and respite is part of the support we can offer if needed.
Our Team are very experienced in family placement -in addition to the above we offer 1-1 work with children when they need this, we offer groups for young people who have issues in common, and we will access external supports from other professionals if this is required.
We are proud to be child-centred in everything that we do and we use recognised therapeutic approaches - Theraplay and Therapeutic Crisis Intervention for Families - to help you build your relationships with children and support them in all aspects of their lives.
We have established locality-based support groups, where you can meet monthly with the other foster carers in your area- it’s a chance to catch up on your news, share experiences and expertise.
You can be part of our exciting, new chapter.
