You're never alone. Our close-dedicated team is here for you 24/7, with direct access to professional advice and crisis support whenever you need it. You’ll have a Supervising Social Worker (SSW) alongside a senior manager on-call to escalate any concerns – typically, one supervising social worker supports around 12 foster families, allowing for personal attention and meaningful relationships. You will also be supported by one of our therapeutic family workers.

We offer:

  • Regular one-to-one supervision to guide and support you in your role
  • Peer support groups where you can connect, share, and learn from other carers (with a minimum of four per year)
  • A consistent point of contact and a nurturing, responsive team behind you.

 

We’re passionate about helping you grow in confidence and capability. With a personalised development plan, you’ll have access to high-quality learning opportunities tailored to your journey

You can expect:

  • A minimum of 20 hours of training each year
  • Be part of a reflective learning community
  • Specialist therapeutic resources and training in Theraplay, PACE, Crisis Management and more
  • Ongoing support through supervision and annual reviews
  • Direct access to our Senior Manager for Education Services
