Find out more about CareVisions

Care Visions is Scotland’s largest private provider of residential and foster care, supporting children and young people from infancy to adulthood across most Scottish local authority areas. As a not-for-profit organisation, we are committed to creating safe, stable, and loving environments where young people can heal, grow, and thrive.
Our practice is grounded in trauma-informed care, guided by the Sanctuary Model and shaped by our core values: Safety, Compassion, Respect, and Integrity. These values come to life through the relationships we build — with young people, carers, and teams working together across Scotland.
We offer a full range of care types, including Interim, Long-term, Permanence, Emergency, Short Breaks, Parent and Baby, and Individual Family Support. For young people moving into adulthood, our Adult Placement Service provides continuity through Continuing Care arrangements, supporting long-term stability beyond age 18.
We also work closely with our charity partner, the Why Not? Trust, which extends support beyond the care system by nurturing lifelong connections and building "The Village" — a growing, relationship-led community for care-experienced young people. It’s a space where no one is left to navigate life alone, and where love, encouragement and belonging continue beyond formal care.
Since 2006, we’ve walked alongside foster carers, residential staff, and local authorities to deliver care that meets each young person’s needs with empathy and understanding. Using therapeutic approaches like PACE, Theraplay®, and DDP, we support carers to respond to trauma with care — especially in moments of crisis or transition.
We are proud to be part of a wider movement that is Keeping The Promise and Getting it Right for Every Child, one relationship at a time.
